UK Pavilion, Expo 2025
Tijdens mijn stage bij WOO architects in Londen (zomer 2023) maakte ik deel uit van het team dat de winnende inzending voor het Britse paviljoen op de World Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan ontwikkelde. De internationale werkomgeving bleek enorm waardevol. Het was intensief, leerzaam en verrijkend; ik kreeg de kans om mee te werken aan een project waarin creativiteit, samenwerking en culturele uitwisseling centraal stonden.
WOO architects blinkt uit in het creëren van innovatieve, aansprekende en verfrissende architectuur die een grote indruk achterlaat. Met een sterke conceptuele basis, gericht op circulariteit en intercultureel perspectief, wist ons team uiteindelijk de competitie te winnen.
Het was bijzonder inspirerend om het prijs winnende paviljoen tot leven te zien komen. De stage heeft mijn professionele ontwikkeling aanzienlijk verrijkt en mijn blik op architectuur verbreed.

During my internship at WOO architects in London (summer 2023), I was part of the team that created the winning bid for the UK Pavilion at the World Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan. The international environment proved incredibly valuable, offering a steep learning curve and the chance to contribute to a project shaped by creativity, collaboration, and cultural exchange.

Seeing the award winning pavilion come to life, was both inspiring and humbling. The internship significantly enriched my professional development and broadened my perspective on architecture.
